Overview

Bale (or in Italian Valle d'Istria) is a small community some 10 km northwest of Pula, numbering just about 1,000 inhabitants, of which about 800 lives in a vilage of the same name.
I have noted from mid 1990's (already 1995) that the community uses the historical coat of arms as kind of a touristic logo. I have no info if this has been officially adopted, just as I have no info on the possible flag that would go together with it.
The coat of arms is gules a cross pattee argent. The shield is oval within golden border, topped with golden crown and surrounded with a  wreath of laurel branches.

The flag is light blue with the coat of arms in the middle. The Ceremonial Flag is a typical for Croatia - of the same design, but with a red border added around.
