Viljevo with about 2,500 inhabitants, half of them in the main
village of the community named Viljevo Donje (as was also the
name of the community until 1997). It is a few kilometars east of
Donji Miholjac, some 50 km north-west
of Osijek.
The coat of arms of Viljevo is Gules a Saltire Argent between
four Corn Ears Or. No info on flag. I suspect the design is a
newer one, say about 1995.

The flag is red with the coat of arms bordered yellow in the
middle.
The symbols of Viljevo were designed by the Heraldic Art d.o.o. company from
Rijeka.

The web site of the community
contains from photos showing the flag and the ceremonial flag as
well as some documents:
- Statut Opcine
Viljevo, 06.02.2006, Slubeni glasnik Opcine Viljevo,
br. ?/2006, describes the COA and the flag in its Article 4,
quite straightforward: "In a trinagular hear-shaped shield
on a red field silver (white) Andrew's cross and four golden
wheat ears (1-2-1). The flag is Bordeaux red, in ratio 1:2, and
on both sides in the centre of it, in the crossing point of the
diagonals, the coat of arms bordered with a thing golden-yellow
line. The height of the coat of arm is 2/3 of the flag
height." However, the Article also claims that this is the
historical coat of arms of Viljevo, which is, I believe,
incorrect as it was clearly adopted for the first time in 2006,
as we shall see from the next document.
- Program
ukupnog razvoja (PUR) Opcine Viljevo, oijak 2009,
Viljevo, the document includes a chapter on the visual identity
of the community (page 105), providing some background: The
community assembly adopted the symbols on its session on 6
February 2006 by a decision on the coat of arms and the flag
(Odluka o grbu i zastavi Opcine Viljevo). Basically, the same
description as in the Statutes follows.
