Petrijevci is a community 10 km north-west of Osjiek, with some 3,000 inhabitants,
most of them living in the main village of the community of the
same name.
The coat of arms might have been adopted around, say, 1995. and
could be seen on <www.osjecko-baranjska-zupanija.hr>
while the ceremonial flag is shown on the local Voluneteer
Firefighters Society Band <www.vzzob.hr>.
This may mean that the brass band may be using this flag as its
own, which is odd, but not quite that unthinkable...
The coat of arms of Petrijevci is Gules two keys or in saltire
with wards down and out and in base a bar of the same. The keys
are no doubt a reference to the namesake of the community St.
Peter. The flag is light blue with the coat of arms in the
middle. The ceremonial flag is also light blue, vertical gonfalon
with three tails with triangular endings each containing a yellow
oak branch ornament. The coat of arms is in the middle and the
name of the community above in two arhces.

Coat of Arms and flag were designed by Heraldic Art d.o.o from
Rijeka and approved by the Ministry of Administration/Central
State Office for Administration before 2006.

The Coat of Arms shown in sources we had - the drawing of the
ceremonial flag of the community that was once available at <www.vzzob.hr>
(now defunct) and that was certainly prepared by the same
designer and the Coat of Arms that was once shown on the County
web site both matched each other an the one we have here.
The drawing provided by the designer in his poster ("Likovna
rjeenja slubenih grbova odobrena od Ministarstva
uprave a na temelju pozitivne ocjene od Povjerenstva za odobrenje
grba i zastave", poster, 4 str, Heraldic art d.o.o. Rijeka
(2006.), see: Coat of Arms at the Designer's
poster), has minor differences, most notably, the handles of
the keys are rendered differently - instead of the ring
surrounding the handly at the top (matching the two rings at
sides of the handles), here we have a circular button
"above" the handle.
