Drenje is a community in the Osijek-Baranya County, in the
vicinity of the city of Šakovo.
Counting just over 3,000 inhabitants, in 12 settlements.
The coat of arms of Drenje is: vert two bars
argent with lines of partition each forming three dendral
protrusions.
This kind of design that was "invented" in the Nordic
modern heraldry (Finland!) but apparently well received in many
heraldic practices, seems to be difficult to blazon using the
classical English terminology. The design (by Heraldik-art d.o.o.
Rijeka) is probably chosen as canting for the name of the
community meaning "bush" or "grove" of thorny
bushes. Twelve trees formed in the coat of arms represent the 12
settlements (villages) that the community encompasses.
There should be a flag to go with it, but for the time being it
is unknown.

The symbols were designed by the Heraldic
Art d.o.o. from Rijeka. The materials of Herlaidc Art include
a photo of the table flag of Drenje, being
dark blue ending triangularly, with the coat of arms in the
middle, name of the community above and ornament below,
containing of four wheat ears and a bunch of grapes.
This is probably miniature version of the ceremonial flag. It may
also be indicative on the official flag being blue with the coat
of arms in the middle, but this should be confirmed before
drawing it.
