The official gazette since 2000 is available on the web site of the County at <www.kckzz.hr> including decisions on symbols of its cities and communities:

The community issued decision on adoption in the official gazette, but retracted it as errorneous issue, since the decision adopted was only a proposal to be given to the central authorities for approval. The proposed coat of arms is described as a shield containing a crown, a fortress, a sword, two plumbs and hills, fields and lowlands. The flag proposed is in ratio 1:2 divided diagonally in blue and gray with the coat of arms bordered white in the middle. The symbols were probably rejected by the central authorities.
In 1997 the community was formed by secession from the community of Sv. Petar Orehovec.

Kalnik is a community in the Koprivnica and Križevci County. They adopted symbols, issued the decision in the official gazette, but then removed it, as it was not in accordance with the regulations of the central authorities.
In the mean time, and based on parts of that 2004 design, new symbols were adopted, as shown on the Heraldic-Art site among the newly adopted designs (meaning probably that they were adopted in 2007).
The coat of arms of Kalink is: gules, on a rocky mount argent sticked a sword also argent hilted and pommed or around which are growing two branches of plum tree vert with two fruits azure each.
The symbols were designed by the Heralid Art d.o.o company in Rijeka.

The web site of the community now pictures also the flag. I have checked the official gazettes of the County (up to nr. 2/2009) and it seems that a new decision on these symbols was not yet published (to replace the retracted 2004 decision), but probably it shall be soon.
The flag is red with the coat of arms bordered yellow in the middle.
