Overview

The coat of arms showes in blue field stone wall with white turret and a white square tower behind it.
Source: Road sign photographed by me, 2001. The Bosiljevo Page, <bosiljevo.home.att.net> 01.12.2002.
In an mail exchange in 1999 or so with the webmaster of the above site he told me that the oat of arms was originally rejected by the Ministry of Administartion and the flag too. In any case, the oat of arms is surely still used on the road signs (these apear rather new or renewed recently). Possibly the oat of arms was finally approved after all. I can't find the messages exchanged, but I think that white flag with the oat of arms in the middle was mentioned as rejected proposal. My drawing based on image at <bosiljevo.home.att.net>.

Unfortunately, the community web site does not provide anything to add, but Tomislav Šipek managed to find a photo where the flag is definitly the one, even if appearing rather far away in the background of the photo and obsucured by the people.
The photo is at the bottom of <www.hbz-og.hr>; in the far end of the left side of the photo behind the musicians - hardly visible but clear enough - white flag with the coat of arms in the centre of it. (One may notice also a small banner of the cultural society at the top of the page photos!).
Apparently, the info I got in 1999 that these coat of arms and flag were rejected is not correct, or at least they are in further use in spite of the eventual rejection.
Certainly, the coat of arms is prominently displayed at the abovementioned community web site.
