The coat of arms of Kapela at the official website is quartered
first and fourth gules, second argent a Latin cross sable in
bend, and third vert a corn ear or issuant. The coat of arms is
probably unofficial. A variant of this arms was also in use, with
the cross being red upright set in the corner of the field while
the field contained the depiction of the local church in a green
low hill.
They seem to have been using a similar coat of arms with some
differences, at least yet in 2007, as may be seen from a charter issued by the
community here.
Altogether like the current but the cross being red upright set
in the corner of the field while the field contained the
depiction of the local church in a green low hill. I
assume that the church was removed after the suggestion from the
central authorities, since we already have way to many coat of
arms showing churches. Weather this means that the new coat of
arms is closer to be approved, it is still hard to tell.
