Recently, Bjelovar adopted the new
Statutes following the administartive reform in the country,
although I believe that they do not include any changes in the
description of the Coat of Arms and the flag in its Article 6 to
the previous 2001 Statutes (and those before): Statut Grada
Bjelovara, 09.07.2009, Službeni glasnik Grada Bjelovara, br.
8/2009, 10.07.2009.
Following the Statutes, the majority of the city decisions was
updated, so also the decision on the Coat of Arms and the flag,
although again, there is no change in the description of the Coat
of Arms and the flag, only in some procedural articles. However,
from this decision we learn that the one previous was issued in
the gazettes 5/96 and 6/97, putting the adoption date of the
current flag in 1996: Odluka o grbu i zastavi Grada Bjelovara i
