Francisco Gregoric has located the flag of the Universidad
Galileo/Galileo University in Guatemala. Although the university
seems to have its own post code, I presume that it is physically
located in Guatemala City. The flag can be seen at <www.galileo.edu>.
In the case of Galileo University, since the institution is a
private institution, the colors of the Guatemalan flag have been
slightly modified. However, it would be obvious to anyone that
the university was a Guatemalan institution.
From this website: "La bandera de Universidad Galileo fue
formada usando tres bandas de color horizontales. La de color
azul marino profundo, representa el mar. La barra de en medio,
color terracota claro, simboliza la tierra o el sistema
planetario. Y la barra celeste superior simboliza el firmamento.
El logo de la Universidad se coloco de tal forma que simboliza la
comunicación entre el espacio interestelar y la tierra en que
habitamos.".
