Golden Dawn (Hrysi Avgi) is the biggest extreme-rightist organization in Greece.
Golden Dawn ceased to exist as the separate organization in December
2005, having merged into the Patriotic Alliance (Patriotiki Symmahia), which used different symbols. In January 2007, the Patriotic Alliance ceased to exist and in March same year, Golden Dawn announced its re-activation. Since then,
the website of Golden Dawn has been regularly updated and its new content
shows the use of the organization's flags. The same is true for the
site/blog of the Youth Front (Metopo Neolaeas), the youth wing of
the organization

Flags used by Golden Dawn until 2005 - Images by Thanos Tzikas, 10 July 2003 (left) and modified by Tomislav Todorović & Mladen Mijatov, 27 February 2006 (right)
The black flag with the red meander reported by Thanos Tzikas from a photography of a speech of the party is probably an unofficial version. According to Wikipedia, the official flag has the red field with the black meander, fimbriated white, while the logotype is a black shield, with the white inner and black outer fimbriations and charged with the white meander. That was the only flag with the meander which I saw at the website of Golden Dawn, whose content is currently very reduced and most of the previously numerous photos are not available now. Only one photo of this flag can currently be found on the Internet.

The red flag with the black meander is still the most used flag of Golden
Dawn after its re-activation. On photos ([1] [2] [3]), only the meander seems to be larger than before.
A new flag, not used before 2007, has a large white meander, with
outer white and inner red fimbriations, on red field. It can be seen on photos ([1] [2] [3] [4]).
Possible flag of Golden Dawn - Image by Tomislav Todorović, 23 October 2008
Two images ([1] [2]) show a black flag with a white meander, but these are not photos, so this design shall be considered just a "flagoid" (possible flag) for now.

Golden Dawn used until 2005 and still uses several different flags with the Celtic cross, as could have been seen at their website (currently containing none of those previously numerous photos) and still can be seen at the Lonhi, the online shop of Golden Dawn, which sells the copies of these flags. Most of them are charged with the white Celtic cross, which has two fimbriations, the inner one in the field colour and the outer one in white. The flag which, according to its presence on the photos previously available at the site of the organization, was the most frequently used, has the black field; the flag with the red field is less used; this is also true for the flag with the blue field, which employs the same shade of blue as the Greek national flag. The online shop also sells the flags with the white Celtic cross on the green field and with the dark yellow Celtic cross on the black field. While the green flag is used by Green Wing, the second flag could not have been seen at the site of the organization, so its use in real life is yet to be checked.
After the re-activation of the movement in 2007, flags with the Celtic Cross were still used, as confirmed by photos of flags with a black field ([1] [2]), a red field ([1] [2] [3]), and a blue field ([1] [2]).

On 24 May 2008, the representatives of the Golden Dawn were guests at the Nationalist Congress, an event organized in Villepreux, Yvelines, France by the French Renewal, another ultra-rightist organization, which has developed a partnership with the Golden Dawn (both organizations are the members of European National Front). At the fair which was organized there, Golden Dawn had a booth with its publications, mostly different issues of the magazine "Golden Dawn". The cover page of an issue in front central part of the booth shows a large photo of a flag made of a white celtic cross, with inner black and outer white fimbriations, on the red field. Unfortunately, the photo is not detailed enough to make the date of the issue visible, the information which would otherwise help in dating of this flag.

Photos ([1] [2]) seem to show black flags with a "solid" (non-fimbriated) white Celtic cross but, having not been confirmed on other photos so far, their design shall be also considered a "flagoid" for now; the fimbriations cannot be recognized on a photo if its resolution is too low.

Before 2005, Golden Dawn also sometimes used a flag with a large
white disc, charged with a black Celtic cross, on the
red field. The image at the online shop shows the flag with the disc in the centre, but the photos from the site of the
organization were showing flags with the disc close to the hoist, like a similar flag from France. The cover of a book sold at the online shop also shows a flag with such a design, along with several Greek national flags.
The least used of the flags with the Celtic Cross, this flag was still used after 2007, as shown on a photo.
Until 2005, both versions of Greek national flag were used, but the
plain cross flag seemed to be used a bit more than the
one with the cross and stripes.
The Byzantine flag used by the Greek Orthodox Church was also
frequently used, but the flag with the same
charges and the reverted colours does not seem to have been
seen outside the online shop. The flag with
the black eagle on the red field was,
however, often used (currently shown only on a book
cover at the online shop). There seems to have been a
similar flag, with a gold eagle on the red field (not
sold by the online shop), but none of the images from the
site of the organization were showing it clearly
enough for a better description. The plain cross flag of Greece with the black eagle overall (flag of Northern Epirus) also seems not to have been seen outside the Web shop.
From 2007 onwards, both versions of Greek national flag are still widely used, but
Byzantine flag of the Greek Orthodox Church and its derivations seem
to have fallen out of use. The only exception is the plain cross flag
of Greece with the black eagle overall; its variant currently used can
be seen on photos ([1] [2]) and on a detailed image.
A plain black flag, typical for the Anarchists, but increasingly used by the ultra-rightists in many countries, is shown on an image. Like the two other flags from the same image, it is not confirmed on
any photo, so it shall also be considered a "flagoid" for now.

Flag of Green Wing - Image by Tomislav Todorović, 23 October 2006
Green Wing (Prasini Pteryga) is an Ecologist organization founded by memebers of the youth wing of the Golden Dawn. It uses a green flag, charged with a white Celtic cross with outer white and inner green fimbriations.
