Flag of Cancer Research UK

At http://www.flickr.com/photos/simoncockayne/160214713/ is a photo of Cancer Research, UK. The flag is very dark blue with letters reading "Cancer Research UK" in white sans serif capitals in one line centered on the flag and on the fly ten discs arranged in a triangle pointing outwards, all white except for a dark red one at the tip.

The symbol, it seems to me, is representing healthy cells with one - coloured - tumour cell.
