World famous Catalan painter Joan Miró created a logo for the Spanish Tourist Board; more info here (in Spanish).
The logo consists of a red sun with a broad black edge and an additional broad yellow edge sector, from 7 to 1 o'clock; on the upper left, partly on the yellow edge, a black eight-spoke asterisk; bellow the word "España" in naif hand-written black capitals, the "E," "P" and last "A" with additional red smudges, the "S," first "A," and "Ñ" with additional yellow smudges, and the last "A" with and additional green smudge.
Recently I saw this logo used on a plain white flag, in presentations, abroad and at home, of the said Spanish Tourist Board. Example of such use can be seen in this photo, taken at the Spanish booth of a language-tourism trade fair in Lisbon, 2007. Note the parallel use of the Spanish national flag.
