The symbols shall also depict "acorns and branches of rosmarin in gold recalling the mountains surrounding the village", also "typical" plants of the region, and "wheat spikes" symbolizing "the importance of agriculture". In the center of the shield of arms and of the flag shall be depicted "a donjon", recalling the village castle.
The symbols wre designed by the Chair "Barón de Valdeolivos" of the "Institución Fernando el Católico", an institute depending of the Provincial Council of Zaragoza, which also designed other municipal symbols recently adopted in the area.
