Description

From this webpage (my translation):

The flag is red, ratio 2:3, with a centred yellow castle, with [black] masonry lines, blue gate and windows, and on each corner a yellow Tau cross of St Anthony. The flag is almost a banner of the arms (blazoned: Gules, a castle Or, masoned Sable, gate and windows Azure, on a base Azure a Tau cross Or). The castle is the arms of the Castellà family, former lords of the town (identical to the royal arms of Castile, castellà meaning castilian) and the Tau cross of St Anthony makes reference to the local patron saint.

The flag was adopted on 11 June 1997, published in the Diario Oficial de la Generalitat Valenciana (Valencian official bulletin) no. 3,054, of 11 August 1997.
