According to Heraldica Institucional de Canarias, the new flag of Santiago del Teide is dark blue (FIAV-code B+). In its centre is a red cross of St. Jacob (Santiago), also denoted as a sword. The cross of St.Jakob has a heart at top end, a peak at bottom end and two lilies (fleurs de lys) at left and right end. The cross is surrounded by 9 white pyramids, symbolizing 9 islands.
The flag was granted according to Heraldica Institucional de Canarias by order of the President of the Canary islands council on 3 December 1991 (Otorgamiento de Bandera: Consejería de Presidencia del Gobierno de Canarias. Orden de 3 de diciembre de 1991) and later published in BOC on the 13 January 1992.

A plain white flag with the coat of arms in its centre.
The coat of arms is a quarterly divided shield. In the first quarter is a golden wine grape in a blue field; in the second one is a red pot in a silver (white) field; in the third one is a green cactus bush in a silver (white) field; in the fourth one is a golden (yellow) anchor with chain in a blue field. The shield has a golden inescutcheon with a cross of St.James (Span.: Santiago), who gave the municipality its name. The shield has a red border with nine silver (white) islands, i.e. white triangles. The shield is topped by a coronet. Beneath the shield is a ribbon with an inscription "Villa de Santiago del Teide." I spotted this flag on 30 January 2007 in Military Museum Sta. Cruz d. T.
