Description

Green with a white castle as high as 7/9 of the flag's height, with black gate and windows, and on each side a white cross of St Tecla [similar to a St Anthony's or Tau cross], as high as 1/3 of the flag's height. Ratio 2:3.

The flag is a banner of the arms (blazoned Vert a castle Argent gate and windows Sable between two St Tecla crosses Argent). The castle is that of Albiol and the crosses of St Tecla make reference to the jurisdiction of the archbishops of Tarragona. Flag adopted 29th November 1991. Source for image and text: Fluvià 2001.
