Rectangular e atravesada desde o ángulo superior esquerdo ó ángulo inferior dereito por unha franxa de cor branca na proporción de dous a dez, en relación con anchor da bandeira, que a divide en dous triángulos rectángulos iguais, un na parte superior de cor vermella e o outro na parte inferior de cor verde clara. No centro o escudo municipal.
Decreto 82/1985, do 28 de marzo aprobado polo Consello da Xunta de Galicia.

Rectangular and traversed from top left to bottom right corners by a stripe of white in the proportions of 2:10, in relation to the hoist of the flag, which is thus divided into two equal right triangles, a red one on top and the other green at the bottom. Municipal arms in the cente.

Fórmano unhas pezas nobres asentadas nun óvalo cunha estrela de prata no centro superior, e dicir na punta do xefe da que caen destelos do mesmo metal a pao cara o centro do escudo alumeando dous camiños que serpean entre montes e vales, de cor natural, dende unha torre almeada, de ouro, coas portas e ventás de gules (vermello) que aparece na súa parte destra e outros en forma de S dende o lado sinistro dunha ponte románica de seis arcos e de cor natural que vai atravesando sobre o río (o Ulla) dun a outro cantón da punta do escudo, todo sobre fondo azul e adoptando forma oval que rodea unha bordadura caprichosa con puntas enroladas simetricamente ás superiores cara ó reverso e as inferiores cara ó anverso, envolvendo o destro un ramo palmo e o sinistro outro de carballo con landras que son de cor sinople (natural, ou sexa verde), debaixo, na punta unha cuncha de vieira de cor natural. Unha coroa real é a que serve de timbre a este escudo.
Acordo adoptado no Pleno o día 30 de maio de 1928.

Formed of noble elements arranged in an oval with a silver star in the top center, in the point of the chief below which depends a tail of the same metal and beneath which in the center of the shield two paths that wind between hills and valleys, proper, from a crenelated tower or, with doors and windows gules (red) that appears on its right side and the other forming an S-shape to the left side toward a Romanesque bridge of six arches proper that crosses over a river (the Ulla) from one to another from either side across the point of the shield, all on a blue background and in an oval shape that surrounds a whimsical border with rolled edges, the upper symmetrical with the reverse side and the lower to the obverse side, wreathed on the right by a palm frond and on the left an oak branch with acorns vert (natural, or green), below, on the point a scallop of natural color. A royal crown serves as the crest of the arms.
Agreement adopted in meeting of May 30, 1928.
