Introduction

Andratx is located on the southwestern shores of the island of Majorca.

Description

The ratio of the flag is 2:3. It is an armorial flag, showing a yellow sun with 16 curvy rays, alternating big ones with small ones and having a face. The sun is placed into the centre of a celestial blue flag. I observed this flag on 24 May 2009 at the town hall and a better example on 30 May 2009 in Port d’Andratx at the building of the local fishermen co-operative.

A blue flag containing a life belt, white with red bands and shifted to the hoist. The life belt is superimposed with a black upright anchor, which is superimposed with a white seagull. I observed this flag in the harbour of Port d'Andratx on 30 May 2009.
