Description

White flag with a black griffin with red claws and tongue, distant 1/6 of the flag's height from top and bottom and 2/9 and 3/9 of flag's length from the hoist and fly respectively [the griffin is thus inscribed in an imaginary square of side 2/3 of flag's height]. Ratio 2:3.

The flag is a banner of the arms (blazoned Argent a griffin Sable, langued and armed Gules), which are the arms of the Desbrull family, former feudal lords of El Brull. Flag adopted 18th October 1999. Source for image and text: Fluvià 2001. The image in this source shows the griffin as grey, rather than black as in the official description.
