Introduction

The municipality of Constanzana (147 inhabitants in 2006; 2,600 ha; 891 m a.s.l.) is located 50 km north-west of Àvila. The population of the village has peaked around 300 in the 1950s.

Description

The flag and arms of Constanzana are prescribed by a Municipal Decree issued on 23 February 2004 following adoption by the Municipal Council on 16 February 2004, and published in the provincial official gazette No. 47, 9 March 2004.

The flag is rectangular, in proportions 2:3, green with a red cross throughout fimbriated white.

"Argent a church gules surrounded by two pines eradicated vert, a border vert charged with four stalks or. The shield surmounted by a Royal crown closed."
