In the province of Alicante, there are several municipalities that have a monocoloured flag with the municipal coa in the center. Calp (Spanish: Calpe, 23,60 km² and 28.000 hab.) is a municipality in the comarca of Marina Alta in the Valencian Community.

Personal observation: when I was younger, I saw in a hotel in Calpe the usual flags, but I saw a green and white horizontal bicolor flag, which I never knew what belonged to, but it's a coincidence that these are the colors of the local shield.
