In the province of Alicante, there are several municipalities that have a monocoloured flag with the municipal coa in the center. The municipality of El Castell de Guadalest / Guadalest is located in the Province of Alacant (Alicante), in the comarca of Marina Baja, Valencian Community, Spain (15.97 km² and 217 hab., 2008). This is perhaps one of the most picturesque villages in Spain.
