Overview

Guamote's flag is a red over green bicolor as seen at <www.municipiodeguamote.gov.ec>.

The canton was formed on 9 August 1944.
We show the flag without the municipal coat of arms, after a drawing given on the municipal website, but a photograph taken into the Mayor's office shows the flag with the coat of arms.
