"The flag is made of three colours, green, yellow and red.
Green and yellow covers two horizontal stripes, upper and lower,
respectively. The laterlal left part of the flag is made of a red
triangle.
Green means hope in the future, based on the fecund work of the
farmers. Yellow means the golden shade of the canton's progress,
represented by the work of the goldsmiths. Red represents and
symbolizes the courage and pride of the inhabitants of Chordeleg
who work in unity for its future and development."
