Teamlines

Teamlines: It is a red over blue bicolour. At the bottom of flag is an inscription in white italic capital letters: "TEAMLINES". A white roundel on the dividing line is slightly shifted to the hoist. A dolphin is jumping out of the roundel to the flyend. The dolphin is white outside the roundel but red and blue within it.
The address of Teamlines is Baumwall 3, that is the Sloman building. But I don't know whether Teamlines is a part of Sloman or not.
I spotted this flag opposite of Alster-Arkaden on 21 March 2007.
(ed.note: I believe this is not a mere publicity flag KMS)

See company website: "Team Lines maintains several offices in Norway, Sweden and Finland. Our head office is situated in Hamburg at the Sloman-House, which is close to the harbour area - a renowned address for shipping companies."
Jarig Bakker, 2 June 2007

TEAM LINES GmbH & Co. KG - The company is located in the Sloman building at Baumwall 3 near the Hamburg harbour area.
Brief history:
In 1846 the Mathies-Reederei was established and Rob M. Sloman acquired shares of that company. After WWII the shipping company Johannes Ick moved from Danzig to Hamburg. Both companies were lead by Harald Sommer.
In 1966 Mathies-Reederei, H.M. Gehrckens and Nordström &Thulin  had established the TEAMLINE, bought two new Ro-Ro ships, began a shipping line to Sweden and… closed the company in 1972 selling both ships.

In 1991 Rob M. Sloman, Ernst Russ and Harald Sommer founded the new company TEAM LINES GmbH & Co. KG in order to make profits in the expanding market Baltic-feeder shipping. Under the roof of this company the competors connected their activities in North Sea and Baltic Sea. Manager became Harald Sommer. Within the next ten years the company became the number two in business and had branches in Helsinki, Gothenburg and Oslo.

In April 2001 the company FINNLINES O.Y. overtook 68,2% of the shares from Russ and Sommer. Obviously Sloman had already sold his 31,8% earlier.

Though the company was profitable it was sold to a newcomer from Antwerpen, the DELPHIS B.V., in July 2006. DELPHIS had been established in 2004 and had branches in Spain, Portugal and Poland and expanded now to Scandinavia and has now spread out all over Europe from Gibraltar to St.Petersburg.
The trident flag was used until 2006 and since then the dolphin flag.

Image corrected after information provided by Jan Mertens about real Teamline flags on Josef Nüsse's site and Shipspotting sites. Teamlines is now property of the Belgian company Delphis, Antwerp based. That company's website features prominently the dolphin, as featuring on the new Teamlines flag.
Jarig Bakker, 4 Jun 2007

Cycling towards the Danish-German border, I saw ships on the Kiel canal belonging to the shipping company Teamlines registered in Rendsburg and Hamburg, their house flag red over blue with a rather rectangular white trident.
Peter Hans van den Muijzenberg, 27 Aug 2001

The Team Lines house flag can be seen at their website.
