Germania, Boppard

Name: Ruderclub "Germania" e.V.
Located in: Boppard
Established: 17th May 1922.
Description of flag: It is a white flag with a centred cotized black cross. In the canton there are dotted black capital letters "R.C.G.B." at the top edge of the flag. In the centre of the flag is a yellow shield with a black eagle with red beak and red claws (holy roman empire), superimposed by a white inescutcheon with a red  latin cross (archbishopric and electorate of Trier). In times of establishment it seems to be a rather conservative club. The pattern of the flag is obviously inspired by the imperial German naval flag with the coat of arms of Boppard instead and the abbreviation of the clubs name in the canton.
