Harburger Ruder-Club
Name: Harburger Ruder-Club von 1892 e.V.
Located in: Hamburg
Established: 1892.
Description of flag: It is a white flag with a red centred cross. In
the centre of the flag is a black red-edged circle with the coat of arms
of the former city of Harburg. On the edge is an inscription of white capital
letters: "HARBURGER RUDER (top) CLUB 1892(bottom)".
Description of coat of arms: It is a white shield with a red open gate
with 3 towers, with pinnacles and white brickwork upon the walls. In the
open door is a yellow inescutcheon with a black animal, I believe it's
a bear facing the hoist.
The club can't be really established in 1892. According to successors
website the club was built, when "Ruder-Club Vorwärts von 1895 e.V."
and "Harburger Männer-Ruder-Verein von 1909 e.V." (HMRV) merged.
The date I couldn't find out. HMRV was for males only.
