City of Straelen (Kleve county /Northrhine-Westphalia)
Straelen became city in 1387, lost however that title under the rule
of the Bonapartes and regained the title in 1928.
Description of flag:
The flags ratio is 3:5. It is a white flag with a green edge
at the hoist and a black one at the flyend and the coat of arms in its
centre.
Description of coat of arms:
In a silver (=white) shield is a black arrow, another word is ray (German:
Strahl), symbolizing the cities name.
