Description

Blue-yellow with the arms. Source: Falko Schmidt, arms probably from Linder and Olzog 1996.

Stefan Schwoon, 18 March 2001

Adopted 29.11.1989, according to Dirk Schönberger's Administrative Divisions of the World website. From Ralf Hartemink's International Civic Arms website:

The arms were granted on August 16, 1976. The four lozenges symbolise the four historical territories: Schwarzwald, Heckengäu, Kraichgau and Stromberg. The wavy bar symbolises the Enz river.

Literature: Stadler 1964-1971 [and Linder and Olzog 1996?].
