*A "Verbandsgemeinde" (VG) is a combination of several municipalities
to an administration community in Rhineland-Palatinate.
Jörg Majewski, 26 Jan 2009
The overall proportions are 5:8, but the canton has a ratio of 2:3 thus
bringing the meeting points of the girons above the centre point of the
flag?
The shield is set in the visual rather than the mathematical centre
of the canton.
