Municipality of Wiesmoor (Aurich county; Lower Saxony)
Description of flag: It is a green over yellow horizontal bicolour with the coat of arms in the centre.
Meaning: The green colour is symbolizing woods and meadows, the yellow colour peat-based electricity having been generated by a local power station.
Description of coat of arms: In a golden shield is a mainly black capercaillie (Auerhahn), armed red, with some white feathers too. The shield has a black chief showing a golden flash.
Source: I spotted this flag in front of the municipal assembly hall, but it could be viewed best, fixed on the wall of an electricity shop..
