SG* Brookmerland (Aurich county; Lower Saxony)
Brookmer land consists of Marienhafe market town and the municipalities of Leezdorf, Osteel, Rechtsupweg, Upgant-Schott and Wirdum. The former southern part of Brookmerland, the home of tom-Brook kin, was separated during the incorporation to France. The northern part was administered by Norden, the southern part, today more or less Südbrookmerland, by Aurich. Later Prussia kept the new boundaries.
Description of flag: It is a blue over yellow over blue horizontal triband. The colours are those from the coat of arms of the comprehensive municipality, showing the golden eagle of tom-Brook kin in a blue field. The eagle is crowned golden, two more cornets are added upon the tops of both wings. Two pur-wheels are added at the bottom.
Source: Information was given by Mr.Ziegler on 15 September 2009 in the town hall, located in the municipality of Marienhafe. According to Mr. Ziegler there exists no flag with coat of arms nor have the single municipalities flags of their own.
*A "Samtgemeinde" (SG*), also called "collective municipality" is a combination of several municipalities to an administrative community  in Lower Saxony
