The third variant is the vertical flag (5:2) that comes in three different
subvariants: variant 1 is a Banner (hanging flag) in 300x120cm size:
I have seen this 1 May 2003 in Munich; variant 2 is a Knatterflagge
(flapping flag) in 375x150cm size; variant 3 is a Knatterflagge
(flapping flag) in 300x120cm size. The latter two variants are for hoisting
on a normal flagstaff. Examples: 1,
2,
3.
