Otrokovice town flag
Last week I saw in the newspaper also newly granted flag of Otrokovice
Town, District Zlín, (11 Km, W from Zlín, Important railway station, tyres
production - Barum Continental etc.:-)) The flag is (what a surprise!)
an armorial banner. That means three vertical stripes blue, white and blue.
On the margin of first two strip there is a linden (lime) leaf counterchanged,
pointed in chief, in the third stripe a coulter pointed down, coloured
white. This town is with Zlín connected with local railway, trolleybus
and bus lines and for certain perion of time was it part of "Gottwaldov"
City. Flag adopted 11 May 2001.
