Info from this site: "In 1664 Emperor Leopold I promoted Trmice to town status and granted it the right to use its own coat of arms. In the mid-1800s, Count Albert Nostitz had a neo-Gothic Tudor-style chateau built here. The local chateau park was modelled on the famous Průhonice Park, which at that time was also the property of the Nostitz family. Today the chateau serves as a stately cultural centre open to the general public and a venue for exhibitions, concerts of chamber music and various social functions."
