Siřejovice municipality flag
Here the flag of the municipality of Siřejovice (German: Schirschowitz)
in Ústi region (okres Litomĕřice) in Czechia. The flag was approved 8 June
2004 and published in Petr Exner's Vexillological Lexicon of Czech municipal
flags 2004.
The municipal site shows no
images, but has a description of flag: Flag: quartered; the hoist is 1/3
flaglength, the topstripe is 1/3 flagheight. The fly is blue over yellow.
The hoist is white over blue; on white a red St. George's cross; on blue
a yellow castle, 5 times embattled, on a green mound.
Near the village is an old derelict building which reminds of Windsor
castle, hence the building and the St. George's cross.
See for instance the image on this
webpage.
