Overview

Cáchira is a municipality in Norte de Santander Department. It was founded on 11 March 1811.
The flag of Cáchira is horizontally divided grenn over red and charged with yellow five-points star in its center.
Information in Spanish:
"El verde: Representa los campos, la naturaleza  y el paisaje  del municipio.
El Rojo: Hace honor a nuestros heroés y antepasados.
La Estrella amarilla: Representa la riqueza del municipio. "
