Overview

Turbana is a municipality located in the Bolívar Department. It was founded on 17 August 1894.
The flag of Turbana is horizontally divided white-green and is charged with the coat of arms.

"The coat of arms was selected in a competition won by Gustavo Devoz Anillo; it represents a native, symbolizing our indigenous past, depicted in the montainous area, emphasizing that our municipality is located in the mountains."
