Overview

Clemencia is a municipality (since 17 August 1994) located in the Bolívar Department. The flag of Clemencia is horizontally divided green-white-green-white-green-white-green with white canton charged with stylized sun.

"The flag is made of two basic colours, a white background with four green horizontal stripes, and of a sun in the upper left corner. White means the purity of our province's people. Green means the ecological resources and the greenness of our fields. The sun represents the warmth of our land and tourism."
