This is St. Syrus of Genoa (d. c.380), a parish priest at St. Romulus (San Remo), he became bishop of Genoa and served in that position for 65 years. He is principal patron of Genoa (July 7). He was named San Siro, and it is alleged that he was born in the village of San Siro di Struppa.
