Flag of Gaborone

The flag of Gaborone, the capital of Botswana, is light blue with the municipal Coat of Arms in the center. The light blue is the same colour than national flag of Botswana.  Both this flag and the national one fly in front of  the "CIVIC CENTER" in Gaborone's Business District (Central Gaborone).  .

Yes, the light blue flag with the CoA in the centre is indeed the municipal flag of Gaborone, capital of Botswana.  I have seen it flying there too, and sent a letter to the municipality asking for more detail on the arms but never received a response.

The colour shade for the blue used on the national flag is being discussed by the Cabinet.  That has been a problem with standardisation and so flags with various shades of blue (from different manufacturers) are seen and the government wants to change this.  As soon as I get the confirmed details, I will share them with you.
