Presentation of Herbosch-Kiere

Herbosch-Kiere, based at Kallo, is a Belgian shipping and salvage company, founded in 1975 as the result of a merger between the Eugeen Herbosch (shipping, salvaging) hydraulic engineering department and Kiere (heavy demolition). Active in marine and civil engineering, and demolition, the company is owned by Softcom at Brussels (part of the French group Eiffage). Nowadays environmental work (for example, pond construction) is taken up as well. A British branch, Herbosch-Kiere Marine Contractors Ltd, is located at Chiswick, London.
Herbosch-Kiere has realized a number of works, not only in Belgium, for instance piling works in connection with the London Underground. Salvage of notorious ships includes the Herald of Free Enterprise and Tricolor.
