SDS Flag

The SDS flag is the standard Serbian tricolour red over blue over white, with a yellow device in the middle made of cyrillic letters SDS (S in cyrillic is as latin C, and D is similar to greek delta with some 'pins' stretching down, therefore it is also similar to latin A). SDS stands for Srpska Demokratska Stranka - Serb Democratic Party - a party lead by Radovan Karadzic in Bosnia, and the ideological 'avantguard' of Serbian doings in the war in Bosnia (and in Croatia, the rebels were lead by SDS, too). The flag is in use since 1990 or beginning 1991 when the party was formed.

the flag of the Serb Democratic Party of Bosnia and Herzegovina is is the Serbian (R/B+/W) with its emblem (monogram) in gold centered thereon:  the monogram is a stylized ΡΔΡ (=SDS), with the 2 s (ess) asides against the sides of the <D> (dye)—note that the left-hand  (ess) is depicted as mirrored backwards.
Robert Lloyd Wheelock and Jorge Candeias, 25 September 1999

Interesting to note that the (bosnian) Serb Democratic Party SDS has almost nothing in common with the Yugoslav Democratic Party SD.
Antonio Martins, 26 September 1999

The flag with SDS is the party flag of Srpska Demokratska Stranka, the party that lead Bosnian and Croat Serbs into the "rebelion". If I'm not much mistaken, SDS was lead in B&H by Karadjic, who is still wanted for war crimes, though it may be that the new reformed SDS exists now in B&H. Anyway, SDS flag was no unfrequently seen in B&H (i.e. Srpska), but almost regularly side by side with simple undefaced tricolour.
