In December 1998. Serbian Sarajevo (Srpsko Sarajevo) approved
the proposal designs of Serbian Heraldry Society for the Armorial
Achievment of the city . It is 1:1 as well as other 20 or
something newly approved banners of arms in Serbia, Montenegro
and Republic of Srpska
Srpsko Sarajevo is Serbian part of Sarajevo in Republic of
Srpska, and its capital (includes Pale, too). Banner's Blazon:
Gules a Cross gyronny of Azure and Argent. BTW, There is no law
both in FRY and in RS that says something about banners of
municipalities or cities. Theese are the "banners of
arms" placed on greater arms of territorial units.

For the first time I have seen the flag of Srpsko Sarajevo
(Serbian part of Sarajevo) on the "border" between
Federation of BA and Republic of Srpska. The flag could be seen

Srpsko Sarajevo is not part of Sarajevo, or not exactly.
Srpsko Sarajevo is city in Republic of Srpska , encompassing 7
communities.

Official name of the city was changed to Istocno Sarajevo
(East Sarajevo). It is city in Republic of Srpska, encompassing 6
communities: Istocna Ilidza, Istocno Novo Sarajevo, Pale,
Sokolac, Istocni Stari Grad and Trnovo.
