Overview

Description of the coat of arms from the municipal statute:
"Municipality has its symbol.
The symbol of Municipality is a coat of arms which incorporates several symbols.
A bell with a cross and four letters "S" in the upper left quadrant on a blue background symbolizes the original name of the town–Zvorik, which is related to the word `bell', and number 1410 represents the year when the town was named Zvornik.
A tower in the upper left quadrant on a red background is the symbol of the town.
Stylized wolf's head in the lower left quadrant, on a red background, represents peoples' constant struggle for freedom.
Water waves in the lower right quadrant symbolize the river Drina."
More information from <www.freewebs.com>:
"Zvornik Municipality's coat of arms was adopted in 1996. [...] The use of symbols is regulated by a special decree of the Municipal Assembly."
No flag is mentioned in the statute.
