Port River Sailing Club (PRSC) is located at Snowden's Beach, Largs North in Adelaide, South Australia. PRSC was founded in 1963. Prior to this time, Port Adelaide Sailing Club sponsored dinghy sailing on the Port River. When a proposal was made to move Port Adelaide Club racing to Gulf waters at Semaphore, a group of dinghy sailing enthusiasts broke away and continued sailing in the Port River.
The Constitution of the PRSC says:
3. ENSIGNS AND BURGEESThere are no images provided, therefore the images show here are reconstructions after the Constitution and might be erroneous.
3.1 The Club Ensign afloat shall be the Australian Red Ensign.
3.2 The Club Ensign ashore shall be the Australian Flag.
3.3 The Club Burgee shall be a black, white and black pennant with the divisions running horizontally.
3.4 The Commodore's Flag shall be black, white and black with the divisions running horizontally, swallow-tailed, divided by a white vertical stripe and with a gold star in the middle.
3.5 The Vice-Commodore's Flag shall be black, white and black with the divisions running horizontally, swallow-tailed and divided by a white vertical stripe.
3.6 The Rear-Commodore's Flag shall be black, white and black with the divisions running horizontally, swallow-tailed.
