Description of arms (German): In geteiltem Schild oben in Blau der nach rechts gewendete Kirchenpatron, Sankt Johann Evangelist in grünem Kleide mit rotem Mantel, aus der Teilungslinie wachsend, mit der linken Hand einen goldenen Kelch haltend, den die rechte segnet; unten in Rot auf grünem Boden ein nach rechts gewendeter schwarzer Rabe, der einen goldenen Ringe im Schnabel hält. Blazoning of arms (English): Per fess: in chief Saint John Evangelist, issuant from the fessline, facing dexter, vested Vert, coated Gules, holding in his sinister a chalice Or, blessed by his dexter; in base, on a mount Vert a raven Sable facing dexter, holding in the beak a ring Or.
Adoption date of arms: 3 April 1929 (based on the arms first attested 1592)
