Description of arms (German): In geteiltem Schild oben in Schwarz ein wachsender rotbewehrter goldener Löwe, in seiner Rechten einen oben links mit einer schräglinken Pfeilspitze besetzten, silbernen Ring haltend; unten von Rot und Silber geschacht. [1]
Blazoning of arms (English): Per fess: in chief Sable, a lion issuant Or armed and langued Gules, holding in his dexter an annulet charged with an arrowhead in bend sinister Argent; in base chequy of Gules and Argent.
Adoption date of arms: 28 May 1971

The flag situation in Dienten am Holzkönig is somewhat difficult. There is one b/w photo showing a municipal flag, probably red-white with the municipal arms [2].
However, the municipal office claims that they do not own a municipal flag, only the school does own one [3]. The school indeed has a red-white municipal flag [4], which does differ somewhat from the flag shown in [2]. Probably, the original flag owned by the municipal office has disappeared sometime and only the school-owned survived.
